acre farm & eatery at Burwood Brickworks is set to be one of the largest urban agricultural projects in Australia, led by the farm food team from Acre. The impressive restaurant will be surrounded by sprawling gardens and a café set within the large high-intensity glasshouse – all set on 2500sqm of productive urban agricultural space punctuated by a hen house, worms, a weddings and events space, tours, workshops, cooking classes, community volunteer opportunities and more.
acre eatery & bar provides a destination dining experience for visitors. Taking in views of the urban farm, it features a unique farm food menu utilising seasonal ingredients grown onsite.
acre glasshouse offers a casual all-day café, adjoining the abundant greenhouse growing space, features fresh, healthy and sustainable sustenance, great coffee, eat-in and to-go items, cakes, sandwiches and more. Dispersed through the café will be hanging plants and pots, and louvers to keep the plants and guests happy. Visitors can eat-in the glasshouse café, walk around the site with food and drinks or take something home for later.
