What to Expect
Everyday Independence’s Early Childhood Intervention team delivers child-centred, play-based sessions grounded in Early Intervention Best Practice. Using a Key Worker model, bachelor-trained early childhood educators work alongside speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and positive behaviour support practitioners to provide holistic support for children and families.
These guided play sessions aim to:
- Deliver engaging, developmentally supportive play experiences
- Introduce families to early intervention and support options in a non-clinical setting
- Build meaningful connections within the Brickworks community
- Reduce stigma and uncertainty around seeking support for children
The sessions are adapted to suit the children and families who attend, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and relevant.
Featured Kidsworks Programs
Each session may showcase elements of Everyday Independence’s popular group programs, including:
- Everyday Funky Monkeys

Support for Families
Additional Everyday Independence team members will be available during the sessions to answer questions, discuss NDIS pathways, and explain the Early Childhood Intervention Key Worker model. Families are welcome to learn more about support options in a friendly, empowering environment.
These guided play sessions are part of an ongoing commitment to inclusion, community connection, and supporting children and families to thrive, the Everyday Way.
We look forward to welcoming you to Burwood Brickworks for this joyful and supportive play experience.
